Multicultural Student Programs and Services Greetings All,

On Jan. 23, the NAACP will be hosting the Mr. and Ms. Diverse ND Pagent (Formally Mr. and Ms. Ebony ND). We have decided to open the pageant up to all ethnicities this year to ensure that this year would be a great event and to celebrate all the gifts that everyone has to offer. We are really excited for ...the new changes!!!

If you are interested in being a part of the pageant, or in helping to coordinate the event, please contact the pagent coordinator Barbara Stansil at bstansil@nd.edu or (219) 455-1829 with your general availiabilty so that we can set up a convienent time for an audition/informational meeting. All interested are welcome. So get excited and ready to support!!!!!!!!!! It is sure to be a great event. A tentative description of the pageants events follows:

Opening Number: A short choreographed dance featuring all the contestants.

Personality Song: Each contestant will be asked to choose a song that best reflects their personality and to give a short explanation to the audience of why that song reflects you.

Talent: Each contestant will be asked to display a special talent. If you can't figure one out on the way we will definitely work with you. Come on guys you all have talents so don't be shy :)

Formal Wear: Students will strut their stuff in their favorite formal attire

Question and Answer: Each contestant will be asked a random question concerning issues on campus and in the world.

If there are any questions please don't hesitate to ask. Absolutely all imput and participation is encouraged. The NAACP looks foward to hearing from you all soon.
Best Regards,
