I'm Joanna, I'm a lawyer, and life is good. I don't mind telling you how it is. If you bullshit me, I'll call you on it...simple as that. I live with my mother, which is almost as bad as it sounds. But I'm not gonna cry about it. It's life...you just gotta live it. And have as much fun as possible while you're doing it.... Okay, now I'm starting to sound like a Prozac commercial. I'm a divorced mother living with my 16 year old (he calls me boring) here in LA. My life really turned around during the divorce as I quite seeing patients (I was a therapist) and focused on my son. After months of residing on my couch enjoying SNL reruns and Ben and Jerry's, I decided to take life by the horns. Carpe... Diem! So I joined a book club. Although the book club didn't pan out as planned, I made some friends along the way and have had some great adventures!!

Hey, I'm Amy and I'm obsessed with bread. It's not like it sounds - I'm a chef. Anyway, I own a bakery here in LA, and I'm married and everything, but I feel most like myself when I'm at book club. OR when I nail a really good Dark Chocolate Gelato. It's heaven, really. I'm in my thirties. No kids yet, but hopefully s...oon (fingers crossed). Oh, and if I could actually cook with Julia Child, I would die a happy woman.
