Now-Here-This We just received word today that we'll be featured on classic rock giant Y108's "Get Hammered" show on Wed. April 1st. This is our second time being featured on the show, and no, it's not an April Fools' gag. Thanks a lot to Derm Cardif, the programming director, for being so generous. We're really looking forward t...o it.

We've also gotten word that we'll be getting some exposure from CFMU (McMaster University radio) and C101. Thanks to Jamie Tenant and Lou Molinaro for their support from their respective stations. You guys have always been good to us, and we do appreciate it.

If any of you readers have any thoughts on what song should be played, please drop us a line.

Brent Doerner, the singer/guitarist for My Wicked Twin has also re-joined Helix, so we'll be playing with a "current" member of Helix. Cool.... At the moment, our set list looks like it will be made up of 5 new songs, and 5 songs from the first album. They're really starting to take shape.

Keep an eye out,

Now-Here-This The headline act, My Wicked Twin, is made up of Brent Doerner (Helix guitarist for about 20 years), his twin brother Brian Doerner (original drummer for Helix; frequently found playing with Saga), and Mike Uzelac (original Helix bass player.) Check them out! I think we're a good match for each other.

Now-Here-This Hey, thanks for the note! We're writing for the new album and rehearsing the new material, so probably nothing until spring, but we'll certainly keep you posted.

Thanks!

Now-Here-This Hey Reid;

Thanks for checking in! Band is doing great! We're laying low at the moment and our other guitar player and I are working on writing some new songs. Thanks for adding us as a fan!

Now-Here-This Hey Nicole;

Sorry.... I don't check in here as often as I should I guess... Cactus Fest went very well. Decent crowd, good response to both the older and the new material, and the weather cooperated. Nice! It was a bit worrying seeing people rushing at the stage with power tools at one point until I realized that it ...was only a case of the stage literally coming apart at the seam. Yikes! haha! I'll keep ya posted on anything else new that comes up. Nothing just yet, though, as a personal situation within the band (nobody thinking of leaving at all... a family thing) is sending us back into 'laying low' mode. Back soon!
