The Noyse Merchants perform a song popular with the Turkish, Azerbaijani, Persian and other middle eastern peoples. The famous Azerbaijani composer Fikrat Amirov (1922-1984) first set this poem to music.

Noyse Merchants We just visited Baker-Hunt Arts Center in Covington. What a fantastic building! It really is a museum. The 1st floor ballroom will hold 80 people, and it has a stage and sound system! Easiest way-go up Madison, left on 8th, left on Greenup, right on E. 7th and left into parking lot. Or you can park on Greenup street. Here's a photo of the Center.

Am very eager to attend this. Medieval music is wonderful, as is your group. And it is heard all too rarely in Cincy!
