Nuk-u-lur Greeting Cards I got a brief but accurate glimpse into my mind this morning. I Madmen'd myself and only when I was finished did I realize that I'd made an almost identical version of the card that I'd just finished and posted.

Nuk-u-lur Greeting Cards I've been working on this set up and I needed a bartender. But who? What would s/he look like? Then it dawned on me...Summer. I had to base her on Summer during your Cinch days.

So while I haven't actually received the letter, I have been informed that KitchenAid objects to my use of an image of a mixer in one of my cards. So I have to pull Crazy Cake from the line until I redo it without the mixer.
If they object to the way I used its image, man oh man I hope they never find out the things I've actually DONE with the mixer. They-would-have-a-fit.

Nuk-u-lur Greeting Cards We finally got a rep in Texas—Whenever I say "We" did something, assume I'm saying "Julia" did something. Julia does everything—Anyway, our new rep, with the cool name Tanniffer, actually wanted to cover the whole state for us. Think about how big Texas is. That seems like a lot of driving, but have at it! See you in Texas.

Jodie Wright I need to find a nuk-u-lur birthday card QUICK in Flint, Michigan...where can I go??

Nuk-u-lur Greeting Cards I like real mail. I don't like bills, statements, ads, offers, promotions, or catalogs, but I love postcards, cards, and letters. While I can't remember the last time I received an actual letter, I probably get a dozen cards and postcards per year, The last one was from China. If you want to make someone's day, mail them a note that commemorates no occasion. It's shockingly effective.

Imagine 300 million positive cards and letters going around our country – one for each American. That’s the goal of Hope Is In The Cards and some very special card retailers across the country are helping make it happen.

Nuk-u-lur Greeting Cards Only 999,919 more fans until we've hit the million mark. I think we can do that by 2010.

Nuk-u-lur Greeting Cards This video makes me want to bake THE LIVING HELL out of a cake.

Nuk-u-lur Greeting Cards Found this going through a sketchbook. I was going to sculpt it to use this as a birthday card (somehow) but haven't made it yet. Maybe a notecard? Wedding invitation?

Nuk-u-lur Greeting Cards I was just made aware that Shoebox Greetings is offering some freelance opportunities. So for anyone who has ever said, "These cards suck, I can do better than this," here's your chance to prove it and make some cash too. How many times do you get the chance to get paid for being right AND a smart ass?

The past few years have been murder on retail. A lot of people we've worked with for a long time have had to close their doors and move on forever. Most recently I was sad to learn that one of the first people I met in this industry had to close his shop. So, Hudson Street Papers, you will be missed.
Thanks to Bev for letting me know.
