Hey there guys,

Yeah....i know...i know...yeah i shoulda been there...I'm having a break....
I hope that answers some of the questions many of you have asked in the past 3 months.

The Itch has returned and the gigs are growing by the minute.

I wanna thank you all for your patience with my absence, but I am back in full throttle now, with a bunch of great shows, new songs, a TV appearance and a new me!!

Hi all,

I've been hiding......

You haven't seen my name around in the past month, or getting emails, or a million updates about this gig and that..... because I've been having a well earned rest from the busy musician lifestyle. I have been pretty sick, so I am spending some time getting myself better, and ready for some great gigs later in the year.

Biography:	Singer/Songwriter Nyssa Bradsworth began performing at the age of 12 as a solo artist in East Gippsland, Victoria. She has now been writing and performing for over 10 years, and Nyssa's breathtaking voice and emotive song writing has people raving. Admirable music lyrically, musically and emotionally, Nyssa performs with prowess, style and passion. Drawing from artists such as John Mayer, Sarah Blasko, Neil Finn and Missy Higgins, and winning many songwriting and performing awards over the years, having performed at Festival Hall, The Vic Arts Centre, Northcote Social Club, Ruby's Lounge, The Espy, Dont Tell Tom, Manchester Lane, The Evelyn and many other venues around Melbourne, Nyssa has the passion and determination to do great things. "Music has always been in my blood. When I was still in nappies, I was listening to Sting, The Beatles, Dire Straits, Bob Dylan and Joan Baez. As I grew, my passion grew, and here I am today. Workin' my little butt off, and loving every minute!" Nyssa has supported some great musicians over her career so far, such as Eric Bogle, The Velvet Janes, Rod Quantock, Sally Dastey, The Dilli All-Stars, former Superjesus front woman Sarah McLeod, Mahalia Barnes, Kutcha Edwards, Jess McAvoy, Simon Philips and Nicholas Roy and has won numerous Kool Skools awards for Best Female Vocalist and Best Acoustic Song (1999 and 2000). In 2003, Nyssa relocated to Melbourne, where she completed a Diploma of Music at Box Hill College of Music, and it was there that she met the core of her band, Natalie Bartsch, Dave Evans and Andrew Rousch, who, 4 years later, she is still creating with. In 2006, Nyssa attended Monash University School of Music, meeting her new guitarist Nick Brown, but after a semester, she decided that her own music was what she wanted to play. Since mid 2006, Nyssa and her band have been flat out, gigging each week and gaining a strong backing. Winning the Revolver Summer Sessions Battle of the Bands in May '07, and with a sell out EP launch under her belt, Nyssa's new EP 'Hurricane' is out now on Red Room.
