Oakton is a two-year community college with campuses in Des Plaines and Skokie. Established in 1969 and accredited by The Higher Learning Commission, Oakton offers education and training for the residents and businesses of Illinois District 535.

Oakton Community College Homecoming: Former women’s basketball star Agata Wojciechowska (Maine East) joins the coaching staff for the 2009-2010 season. Agata played at Oakton from 2005-07. She scored 641 points, ranking her 9th on the all-time scoring list. Agata will serve as an assistant coach under Rich Bolinder.
