What you're not being told by the media is that there is a special Senate election here in Massachusetts on January 19th. If we can work together to stall the legislative process and rally behind the Republican running in Massachusetts, we can steal Harry Reid's 60th vote from him and KILL THIS BILL...

Marcus If anyone knows Stewart Rhodes, please ask him to contact me. Thanks.

Joe Woyte I've always been amazed at how many people have sworn oaths to defend the constitution, and how few of them understand or have evene bothered to read WHAT'S IN IT.

Phil Take a stand here on F/B. Challenge: If you are active or former LEO's, active or veteran military, fire, EMS, have ever taken an oath to defend the constitution of the United States against all enemies; foriegn and domestic, or support and defend the constitution in your own way and life, I CHALLENGE you. Remove your ...political view (or if you don't publish your view) and type in, “Oath Keeper.” Then, mark it for “everyone” to see in your profile. Now, challenge your friends.

Bonnie I'm proud to be a part of this group to get back to our beloved Constitution. I'm working hard in CO to get more and more people to take this oath to our Constitution, and to also assert our 10th amendment rights. They go hand-in-hand.

The Constitution is the most basic law of our country, yet every day, we continue to lose focus by fighting over exactly what this means. There are those in the world today who think, incorrectly, that the founding fathers had in mind that our country should be a christian democracy, i.e. a theocracy. These folks insi...st that it is the responsibility of govenment to put in place this theocracy, by putting christian dogma into the political discourse. If they succeed, the founding fathers will have failed. Religion and government do not, cannot and should not mix.
I have joined this group to protect the letter of the Constitution, not the agendas of those who would use it to advance their narrow view of freedom and a not so subtle evangelical approach to government. In this forum, our focus should be the Constitution, and governmental abrogations of their oath to uphold it. It is not about Conservatism or liberalism, it is about the Constitution.

John Paul Mitchell Hello everyone! I need my fellow Oath Keepers to show their support for me. You can add yourself to my Facebook page. If elected governor of Arizona, I plan to take the oath and defend the Constitution at all costs! We need governors who will stand up for their people, no matter what!
John Paul Mitchell is a 2010 gubernatorial candidate in Arizona. His main objectives when he takes office will be: * Decrease taxes to the lowest possible amount, and eventually eliminate all state taxes paid by citizens * Improve education for every child in Arizona,... tackling the entire education system, on all levels, from multiple angles * Balance the Arizona state budget, making Arizona a fiscally responsible state who limits zealous spending without reason * And to protect and defend the people's constitutional rights, even in the face of an abusive federal government MEET JOHN In 2006 John Paul Mitchell understood that his future held a run for the gubernatorial seat of Arizona. This realization came as a natural result of the understandings he had developed through his personal and professional experiences. Born in California in 1979 he soon moved to Arizona where he has spent the majority of his childhood and adult years. His family first settled in Tempe, Arizona before moving to Glendale and then on to Peoria. His childhood was one filled with the traditional trappings of Arizona family life. Long hot summer nights playing baseball and family camping trips made the biggest impact on him. Whether it was learning team work on the ball field or exploring Arizona’s treasures such as Flagstaff, Mormon Lake and the Grand Canyon it was these experiences that gave him an understanding of the flavor of Arizona and the people who call it home. Mitchell developed his work ethic at a young age. Starting work at just 16 he learned the important role small businesses play in the local economy. Working at Roy’s Pizza in 1995, a local Italian restaurant and Pizzeria, he was exposed to the dynamics of business on a small scale. That same year Mitchell took his first job in public service. Working as an umpire for the City of Glendale’s Recreation Department he was soon recognized as a competent worker and took on additional administrative and data entry duties getting his first taste for the operations side of the community service branch of government. Mitchell learned valuable lessons working for MacFrugal’s (now Big Lots) and his work for the Glendale Community College Book Store helped him combine the experience he’d gleaned from his previous jobs and he ultimately became responsible for the daily financial operations. With his strong business sense and solid work ethic Mitchell has regularly been recognized for strengths by each of his employers. In the three and a half years he has worked for Discover Card he has twice been recognized as a leader each time being awarded for his excellence in Customer Service and Credit Card Knowledge. He has even achieved the company’s coveted Pinnacle of Excellence award given to only the top 1/2% of the entire corporate staff. Throughout his professional and educational life Mitchell has built his understanding of the economy and how the credit/debt cycle can work effectively for people when used properly and how devastating it can be when it is abused. Mitchell’s work experience has been vital to his insight into the country’s current economic environment but it has been what he has done outside of his professional career that has put that knowledge into perspective. Mitchell’s educational career has helped to support his natural affinity in business. His years at Glendale Community College were focused on business and management classes and he is currently a Doctorate student at the University of Sedona. He holds a Master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling Psychology which blends seamlessly with passion for educating, counseling, and assisting people to live a wholesome, harmonious lifestyle. Searching for answers of his own in 2001 Mitchell began an intensive study of Santana Dharma, Hinduism. Ordained as a swami at the age of 23 made him the youngest American-born swami and he soon became the youngest Mahamandaleshwar in the world. This title is second only to the four designated pontiffs and is held in the highest esteem. Mitchell also became a student of Brahman-Atman Yoga and soon became recognized as an authority in the Kriva Yoga community. Through spiritual study, psychology training and his teaching of yoga, meditation and religious philosophy Mitchell has developed a deep sense of compassion and an even greater understanding of how to foster the success in others that each person is capable of. Through his personal and professional life Mitchell has developed the skills and the mind set to change the direction of government. He understands the issues facing individuals, he understands the history behind our current political and economic situation and he has a unique perspective regarding the mechanism that has gotten us to this position and where we can go from here. In April 2008, Mitchell published his first book, No More Taxes, outlining the spiritual, political, and historical aspects of taxation. Mitchell’s personal belief that taxes are unethical and highly illegal has become a major campaign platform issue for him. He posts regularly on FreedomArizona.org and is considered the “anti-tax blogger” of the blogosphere. Throughout his life Mitchell has synthesized information from the people he has met and the experiences he has had and has coalesced them into an understanding of the issues that face Arizonians today and the needs of the state. He has dedicated himself to exploring what it would take to meet those needs in a sustainable way that would guarantee success and prosperity to all. It has become abundantly clear to Mitchell that with the current economic stress, abusive, out of control federal spending and the state of our the political climate that now is time to work to restore Arizona and the nation to it’s constitutional values, and create a brighter Arizona. ###

Jenney Wow. I am a firm believer in what the Oath Keepers organization sands for. I am a strict constitutionalist. I also believe that the Oath Keepers is supposeed to be a non-partisan group. Unfortuantely this page is starting to look like the newest republican meeting place. The president is a muslim? Anti gay marriage? ...What happened to defending the Constitution from BOTH sides of the aisle?
