Yeah it's out already! There's some crazy deal where DirecTV's 101 network is airing season 4 of Friday Night Lights on Wednesday nights, before it airs later this winter on NBC... heck, DirecTV is even airing it sans commercials!

So if you have DirecTV, set yer DVR for Wednesdays! It's definitely the kind of show that will hook you fast, and man do they use a lot of great music throughout.

Ha! That is funny. If I had one, it'd be Variations on Hummus Sandwiches or something. My wife is the real cook in our house. When I sling the apron, I usually refer to Deborah Madison's "Vegetarian Cooking for Everyone." A few shelves over is a book I think is neat, though I've yet to test any of it's recipes ... "Silk Road Cooking: A Vegetarian Journey," which follows the ancient trade route from China through Iran and Turkey to Italy.

Ordinarily I'd offer an incantation of Langston Hughes' poem ... If you're in one of those places, please come out, show us around town, and point us in the right direction to where we can find a decent meal. We're excited. Inflatable pillows have been purchased.
