Observations from the Road Less Traveled QUESTION: Many folks live in great towns with hidden jewels of cool spots right under their noses. What's the coolest spot in your town (food or fun) that you would tell a visitor like me to come see? Making a list and checking it twice....

Observations from the Road Less Traveled Ok. This guy brought tears to our eyes because he's so talented and yet singing on the corner. I had to video him. PLEASE PAY IT FORWARD. Share this clip on your page. Just one moment on your page, one moment in your life...make that change. You never know who might see it.

Talent is all around us! This young man is singing for bills on a corner. Pay it forward and send this link to your friends. Make a difference and maybe the right connect will see him.

Observations from the Road Less Traveled This car belongs to Chad Ochocinco--wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals. On an earlier post we were talking about how people park cars like this on the side of the street in Miami. Ochocinco pulled right up to the cafe we were at, didnt ask for a valet, strolled in and sat right next to us and proceeded to eat. Only diff in him and us was about 5 million?

I'm betting that all the curbside parking spots are "owned" by the restaurants in that the valets use them for immediacy's sake. Try to park a rusty beater in those parking spots and see if you don't get some nasty looks from those "on high." Now, if that cafe sells a burger for under ten bucks, then Chad was hobnobbing with the hoi palloi and all the credit to him for that.

LOL... the cafe absolutely had burgers less than $10 or I wouldnt have been eating there! I think Chad Ochocinco was cool . He was just getting his grub on like everybody else...

Hey, I've "done" the strip in Miami. If your car is expensive, there's valet parking at virtually all the restaurants there. But, yeah, if you have to ask the price you can't afford it.

That's a lesson I learned when I was 19 years old. I bought a brand new XKE by working the afternoon shift at Dodge Truck on their assembly line. 90% of my ... See Morewages went to that XKE, and there wasn't anything left over to "do much more than 'eke life.'" Without the budget to live as high as "my image," I was a pretender to a throne of my own imagination.
