Hi, fellow lovers of the sea! My own effort involves the creation of a time-travel tale with a strong conservation theme. It's called "The First Lamp" and it is all about the choices we make and they impact each other and the planet. A portion of the profits supports sea turtle conservation. Erini I was in Chinatown last night, and one of the shops had a whole wall of shark fins... including a very large fin... I wanted to vomit and cry at the same time... Oceana, you're one of my favorite groups and I'm ever grateful for all that you do!!

The U.S. House passed the Shark Conservation Act of 2009 (H.R. 81), which, if passed by the Senate, would require sharks to be landed with their fins still naturally attached."
