Odds Caterpillars are cute and fuzzy. We found these at a rest stop beside the highway in B.C. Did you know that caterpillars have 4,063 muscles ( humans-629 ). They move through contraction of the muscles in the rear segments pushing the blood forward into the front segments elongating the torso. Average muscles in the head- 249.
