Mission:
VH1 Classic's Rock Autism campaign is designed to help educate parents and build awareness about autism, a complex neurobiological developmental disorder that lasts throughout a person's lifetime, and to raise funds for a variety of autism research, advocacy, and support organizations. Autism affects one in every 150 children, with a child diagnosed every 21 minutes. Today, there is no known cause. VH1 Classic aims to galvanize a community of artists and fans in support of autism awareness.

Mothers view of the Language of Autism: You have heard of
French, German, English and Sign Language.
I would like to introduce you to the Language of Autism.
Autism is a language minus idioms and innuendos.
You won't find assumptions in the Language either.
The language is precise and to the point without fear of what others think.
Sometimes it is spoken without words.
Once you learn it you will find out what you have been missing. Autism is a Language well worth learning.

Hey just wanted to let people know that I have 4 children with autism 3boys and 1 girl all cjildren are mine.Their ages 13,12, and my twins 9 everyday is an adventure.I know that God only gives these special children to special people. good luck god bless

Just received our shirts (we purchased 2). It feels good to know everyone is becoming more aware of autism. There are so many lost and confused children and parents struggling with just day to day life. I know since my son has his good days and some really bad days, all we can do is try to stay a step ahead of him. I am truly inspired reading the messages from people who have (any form of) autism who are able to voice their opinions and thoughts. Thank you....

I have been diagnosed with a form of Autism known as Aspergers Sydrome. I have worked with many low funtioning Autistic children and i know what it is like for them some people do not see how other parents feel with autistic children to tell those people it is very hard. everyday i hear an amazing event in an Autistic childs life it enlightens me and wants me to proceed life. i am extremely grateful that vh1 classic would put together such a wobderful campaign there is nothing better than this.
