Since inception in 1998, Old State has been the #1 Source for all Penn State fans world wide. Old State is 100% owned by Penn Staters for Penn Staters! Thus Old State is not simply a store, it is the culmination of years of experience knowing and being a part of the Penn State Community. We proudly support THON (Silver Shoes Sponsor), Coaches vs. Cancer (Gold), PSU Homecoming (#1 Contributor), as well as far many more Penn State philanthropies far too numerous to mention. We strongly support Penn State Athletics and give to scholarships for future and current Penn State Students. We try hard to provide our customers with the combination of quality and price they deserve. We travel far and wide, using every resource available to us, (within the constraints of PSU Licensing,) to provide a wide array of gift items and apparel to serve our loyal customers the best we possibly can.

Old State Clothing Co. has two retail locations. One is our original "Through the Jaws of the Lion" store located in the heart of downtown State College, PA at 101 East Beaver Avenue, across from Penn State's Main Campus; and the second is ON Penn State's Main Campus, directly next to Beaver Stadium, in the Official Centre County Visitor's Center.

In 1998 Old State was established along with sister company Nittany Embroidery & Screenprinting. Nittany Embroidery is a top Officially Licensed custom screenprinting and embroidery business which serves the Penn State Community as well. Nittany Embroidery provides embellished items for Penn State Athletics, Offices, Colleges, and Departments as well as Greek Life, and all other Penn State affiliated groups.

Nittany Embroidery also provides Penn State alumni nationwide custom apparel for their corporations and groups. We ship everywhere! If you are coming in for a reunion or want to organize a tailgate or a bar tour, we can have your shirts ready for you when you arrive!
