As those who have been following the story of Olive the young female sea otters who got so badly tarred this last winter may remember, we had lost track of her after the telemetry receiver that was monitoring her temperature and location was stolen from Sunset State Beach about a month ago...

DFG is still trying to locate the stolen otter radio receiver that went missing in mid-August from a hill above Sunset State Beach in Santa Cruz. If you have information about the receiver (see attached photo), please call 1-888-DFG-CALTIP. No questions will be asked...
