Family Fun Fair
Worms! Families! Fun! Children will enjoy special activities at the Literacy Center’s Family Fun Fair, Oct. 24, 1-3 p.m., South Omaha Library, 2808 Q St.
The Family Fun Fair will provide storytimes and exciting activities for younger children such as creating a diary, making a “wormy” treat and ge...tting a close look at worms. The first 50 families to attend the event will receive a free copy of “Diary of a Worm” by Doreen Cronin. Learning stations with fun activities that encourage a love of reading will be set up throughout the Library for children.
The event is free and open to the public and will start after the Prime Time Family Reading program. The Qwest Pioneers will be assisting with the activities.
