On the Same Page Big news: We just opened the one-time discussions to any undergraduate in L&S, not just the new students. If any of our fans have friends who wanted to get in on these discussions with faculty but were not previously eligible, please let them know. They will have to get ahold of a DVD to watch, but all of Ang Lee's films are readily available.

Hi Grace. They're not technically lectures. You can sign up to discuss the films with faculty members at https://onthesamepage.berkeley.edu/discu ssions/registration/sessions_list
Don't let the warning about certificates alarm you--just click ok.
The only real lecture associated with the program will be in Zellerbach Hall on March 16: Ang Lee and James Schamus will give a talk that night. Enjoy!

On the Same Page International students, don't despair! We didn't mail DVDs to you because we were not sure they would reach you on time before you headed off to Cal, but we will give you copies when you get here. Check back on this site for details later this summer!

On the Same Page This just in: because of delays to the production schedule for their newest film, Ang Lee and James Schamus will be visiting the Berkeley campus in March 2009 instead of October 2008. However, the fall opportunities to discuss their film with faculty (in freshman seminars or one-time discussions in September) will still occur as planned, in early fall. Watch this page for updates as their plans firm up.
