In our building at work we collect new and used household items from November 1 to December 31 and give them to the Youth Emergency Shelter. People are very generous!!

One Simple Act Watch for the Alberta Conservation Team at grocery stores around the province during Waste Reduction Week, October 19-25. They will be encouraging shoppers to use reusable bags at selected Safeway, Co-ops and Sobeys stores in communities such as Calgary, Airdrie, Red Deer, Valleyview, Grande Prairie, Sylvan Lake and Cochrane. Don't forget your bags!
