Open Doors Australia As a church in the US prepares to burn the Koran on the 9/11 anniversary, it's worth listening to Brother Andrew's words about our attitude to Muslims. Check out this interview published in Christianity Today in 2007.

Speaking as a Christian, they are not our enemies. God loves the world. And in my book, 'Secret Believers', we propose the question, "Have you prayed for bin Laden today?" That question should shock a lot of Christians. Of course we haven't!

Open Doors Australia thanks everyone who has already donated to our emergency appeal to assist victims of the flood in Pakistan

Help us to strengthen our Christian brothers and sisters by standing by them in their hour of need. Pray that they may not flee and leave the region, or be engulfed in more despair.

Open Doors Australia We have 72 groups registered at the moment. Will you help us get to 100?

Simply select your local favourite ‘Walk to Water’ place (a beach, a creek, a dam or even a fountain), gather your friends, your family, your church, get some sponsors and then walk to make a difference in the lives of God’s persecuted people in Ethiopia

Open Doors Australia Over 20 million people displaced in Pakistan... the equivalent of the entire Australian population going to bed tonight and waking up with no home, no car, no clothes, no food... nothing! Can you imagine the chaos? Please consider donating to the Pakistan flood appeal, it only takes a small sacrifice from many to make a massive difference in the world!

Pakistan is facing unprecedented disaster with the floods in the North of the country, in the Punjab and in Sindh. The floods have impacted at least 20 million people. With many Christians having lost their homes the safest place for them to congregate and receive urgently needed supplies is the loc...

Hey Kathleen, Just trying to get my head around your question - I think you're concerned that most of the money doesn't make it to Pakistan? Sadly, i think this is always a question that is raised when there is a major crisis and honestly I... believe that one of the main problems is local government in the affected areas restricting the flow of funds and resources however, the great thing about Open Doors is that we work directly with the local Churches which removes the likelihood of problems imposed by local government. At the moment we are putting together emergency kits, they cost about $180ea and contain essentials like food, medicine, pillows, blankets, cooking utensils etc... we are doing our absolute best to ensure that the biggest impact is made. I hope this kind of answers your question?See More
