The superb chamber choir Vox Cordis joins OSP for the fourth time, to perform Brahms' ...beautiful Requiem, sung in German. The first half offers a rare chance to hear Webern's stunningly delicate transciption of the six-part Ricercar from Bach's 'The Musical Offering', and Mendelssohn's 'Reformation' Symphony, the finale of which is based on the Lutheran chorale 'Ein' feste Burg ist unser Gott'.
Resident at the Actors' Church in Covent Garden, the Orchestra of St Paul's brings together some of the finest professional musicians under the baton of their conductor Ben Palmer.
