Utah Valley University Men's Volleyball UVU Men's Volleyball takes on conference rival, the University of Arizona, in the Shurian Family Activity Center this Friday, December 4, at 6:30 PM. This preseason event is a rematch of last year's conference championship matchup. Admission is FREE.

Utah Valley University Men's Volleyball
The coaches' meeting will be at 4 p.m. on Friday, January 22. The $200 entry fee for the January 22-23, 2010 men's indoor volleyball tournament MUST BE RECEIVED along with your entry form by Friday, January 8. Please RSVP by e-mail early to request a spot for your team. Entry to the tournament will be on a first-recei...ved -- first-guaranteed basis. This tournament always has a waiting list with 12 to 16 teams participating. A $50 late fee will be assessed after January 8, 2010 for any teams hoping to enter late. No teams will be added or late payments accepted on the day of the event.

Utah Valley University Men's Volleyball
Open tryouts for the men's 2009-2010 volleyball teams will be held at 7 PM on Tuesday and Thursday, October 6 and 8, in the Activity Center (PE Bldg).
Try out to be on one of three teams: Practice, JV or Varsity
Practice team players must try out to join the team. These individuals pay $200 and receive a team t-shirt for... competing at several local tournaments. Practice team players are encouraged but not required to attend all club events including 5:30 AM practices on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and several weekend tournaments.
JV team players also must try out to join the team. These individuals pay $500 and receive a full uniform set for competing at various tournaments in Utah, California, Nevada, Arizona and Kentucky this season. They compete in their own JV Division at the national tournament in Louisville, KY. JV players are expected to attend all practices and most tournaments.
Varsity team players are chosen after tryouts. These individuals pay $500 and receive a full uniform set for competing in all the same tournaments as the JV team plus one or two more. This team will play NCAA powerhouses, like BYU in their preseason. Varsity players are expected to attend all practices and all tournaments.
All team members enjoy the benefits of an experienced coaching staff together at practices and tournaments but pay for each of their own travel and lodging expenses at most of the events.
We are always looking for volunteers who can help the team in any of the following ways: statistician, manager, publicist, booster club, graphic designer, photographer, etc. Please let us know if you're interested in helping out.
