Debbie Krienke My husband and I read "The Complete Works of Oswald Chambers". When I get home from work he shares what he has read and then we discuss it together.
David Krienke I've been reading "God's Workmanship" from "The Complete Works of Oswald Chambers". The section entitled "After Obedience - What?" Has REALLY ministered to me. "Never have a material end in your mind and imagine that God is working towards that by means of your obedience; that is man's way of looking at things."

Five years ago I was given "My Utmost For His Highest" as a gift. What a gift! I begin each day with Scripture, a paragraph from The Imitation of Christ, St. Thomas a Kempis', and daily reading from Oswald Chambers. Not a day has gone by where God's hand is not clearly upon the readings, contemplations. This humble and... great soul has helped my life in my daily walking and talking with Jesus more than I can say. Roy Currently reading "If You Will Ask," and I think I will read it again and again. I have gained insightful information to prayer I have never really understood. My prayer life has changed drastically and I no longer view it as a begrudging obligation, but rather "Oh Sweet Hour of Prayer." Praying to get to know God better, a missed concept in the church today it seems.

Bob Carol Wuersch gave me my first copy of My Utmost at a Josh McDowell event at the University of Kentucky in 1971. I have read it daily ever since.
Jack Lance I somehow bought 'My Utmost for His Highest' when God touched me in 1999. I knew nothing about Oswald...since then the book has about fallen apart & just yesterday I grew from what Oswald wrote for Oct 5th a little more in understanding sin...10 years later.
Chris Van Inwagen It is so good to see a whole new generation picking up on Oswald's writings. He has been so influential in the development of the Christian faith in many people's lives in years past.
