It's Mardi Gras time! Starting today, Feb. 20, and lasting until Feb. 29, we'll give 500 bonus RP points to all new approved characters that join us on OtherSpace at jointhesaga.com 1790 and give the following code in their application questionnaire: beadtoss2009.
For current or returning characters, post an +str titled "Throw Me Beads" during the celebration period and you'll get a bonus of 250 RP points.
OtherSpace We've been holding off on doing anything with crafting (and, by extension, Action Cards) while we waited for Ifrit to get some free time to come up with an alternative to System 4.0. Due to his current schedule, that alternative's not coming anytime soon. So, sorry for the delay, but we will soon be moving to get a few new toys into the system for you to play with using System 4.0!

COMORRO STATION - Comorro's landing hub ended up in disarray after a so called sport took place. The sport itself is alleged to involve keeping a silver ball and a player keeping it in their possession. However, players of this "marketball" seem more interested in trying to maim each other than to get the ball. This resulted in four of the 10 players receiving injuries, despite wearing protective clothing. This so-called sport appears to have no rules and no real objective, outside of injuring other players.
Or in one case, accidentally disrupting a group of Lotorian onlookers, as one drunken Hekayti was rumored to have done.
Tamila Romeno, one of the participants who was injured, said, "This isn't a sport for the weak of heart. In fact, it's usually a good thing if the weak of heart stay well away. But after the rules are reviewed and designed so that it's closer to the traditional sport of shockball as opposed to the modern descendent, marketball, it may actually catch on."

1) Incoming Transmission stories: 25-50
2) Character journal entries: 1-10
3) Lore contributions: 5 (adding a new drink to the Lotorian bartender's menu, etc.)-25 (building a Wiki page for a specific place and its flora/fauna/points of interest, etc.)

1) Promote OtherSpace somewhere confirmable on the web: 5 RPP per site.
2) Posting a log in the OtherVerse Wiki: 20-25 RPP (Subjective, depends on quality)
3) Coordination, planning, running and logging one event: 100 RPP
