The vote wasn't unanimous, but it was pretty solid: A majority of players want to keep OtherSpace: New Journeys open beyond the original planned closing date of June 28, 2008.

There's also been some behind-the-scenes discussions of possible staffers to help out with the continued care and feeding of the game.

So, your voices have been heard and the original saga will continue.

This weekend, expect the locks to be removed from character creation.
