Everything exists for joy. There is not one other reason for life than joy. We've got nothing to prove to anyone, because nobody other than All-That-Is is watching. In other words, we're not trying to get brownie points from some other galaxy. We're not trying to get someplace else; we're not trying to get it done, bec...ause there is no ending--we cannot get it done. Everything exists for the purpose of joy in the moment.

November can be a dark and dank time of year so i am looking toward the Solstice in December and the lengthening of the days! Aren't the little nuggets like that nature leaves about fun?

"The beauty is fleeting, the season very temperamental and as anyone who enjoys dabbling in photography can attest to; the catch as catch can mode of operation is exhilarating when things work out." With love,
... from the garden.

At Our Garden Blog I've uploaded a slideshow of a collection of autumn shots. Enjoy!

PS; T...he leaves are falling here now! Storms are on the way so it's likely we'll see the last of them fly this weekend! By Halloween we should have a monster of a storm bearing down on us! Yikes!Read More

Almost as fun as celebrating the emergence of spring from the deep freeze of winter is the joy that comes with the unveiling of the colorful vistas of autumn.

Our Enchanted Garden / Cheryl Binstock I'm thinking seasonal logos might be a fun idea. This past one is really suited for mid spring think I'll do one for fall and see how it looks! This one's cute though!

Hoping my peaches ripen before frost comes!
On this, the last day of summer in the Northern Hemisphere for 2009 I pray my peaches ripen before the next 1 Celsius dawn! They are close, they certainly look ripe, just a little too firm still...but it's going to warm up for the rest of the week so I've got a good chance of ...a successful harvest in our tree's second season. (planted April 08) We have over a dozen peaches, and that's after we'd thinned out the extras, keeping in mind how heavy the finished product will be on the young branches. In the years to come we'll enjoy a wealth of peaches if we take care to keep the tree in good shape as it grows!Read More
