25 years anniversary is what I keep hearing all around the halls of the Center... So it made think, what was I doing when I was 25?

My 25th I would have been getting honorably discharged from the US Navy and would be returning to the California after leaving 5 years overseas outside of the US. I was so scared, I didn't know much about what had been happening in the US. I also didn't have a job or a place to live. The Navy doesn't do much to help you once you've given them what they have asked of you. I landed in San Diego, Ca. It all worked out in the end, and San Diego is one of my favorite places in the US next to NYC.

So, what were you doing on your 25th?

Yesterday, Edward Albee, the famed American playwright known for Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, The Zoo Story, The Sandbox and The American Dream visited the Center. The event was a packed house and 'Out at the Center' was there to tape the event and will probably air in May or June.

For April, our new volunteers will displaying their new skills in production with their segments on senior LGBT lives, GMAD and LGBT sport leagues. Looking forward to a great show.
