I must take this oppurtunity in congratulating SFRS in their community involvement with local LGBT community and their community organisation ' Gay Surrey'. Impressive work.

After visting yestrerday ( Thursday) a massive thank you to all people involved. I was impressed. especially positive was the video, that really open my eyes and took note. Also impressed with the Surrey Police mobile exhibt stand.. My only criticism would be , that may be the Guildford town center high street would have i more impact because of ... Read Morepeople density. Despite concerns that children with parents would see this stand, it is 'not a bad thing' . Kids are clever and need to be educated at an early age to reduce discriminatory behaviour. It would have been nice if Surrey fire and rescue service lads had given more active support considering its part of the 'Safer and Stronger communities' iniative. The new generation liove any thing ' Whacy' and would create stimulation to come and participate.Equally critical of the NHS for no visable community participation. Its hoped that the next ' Hate crime' awareness inative will have more support from these organisations?
