Over the Rhine Just saw a beautiful healthy wild coyote hunting on the side of the road. Then about a mile further, 2 of the largest wild turkeys. Wow.

Yesterday my Yellow Lab "Mr. July" wanted to make a meal out of a wild turkey. Imagine his surprise when that huge bird went soaring over his head landing in a pine tree about thirty feet off the ground.

We live on a small farm in central Kentucky, and see turkeys pretty often. I learned the hard way that deer just LOVE young tomato plants!!!

As an adoptive mom, I applaud the efforts and support. We hope to bring a little bundle of lovely from Ethiopia in the next year or so. It's an expensive but amazing experience. My goal is to have our own little United Nations right her in Brighton, Mi!!

Over the Rhine David Sedaris recordings make for great company on the road. Ann Arbor was fantastic all around. Thanks to the Ark for having us. Big love to KIm Taylor for singing with me - signed - affectionately, Chipmunk.

What a show last night - the rendition of "Hurt" was intense, yes. I will say that your music brought common ground to my marriage in terms of musical tastes. My wife and I try to catch at least one show in Michigan each year. And... that bratwurst reference will stick with me for the rest of my life I am sure, for better or wurst...
