With PANIK!ATTACK! starting out life as Deano and SikNote, just Djing for fun in Chesters student union bar, INDIE THURSDAYS rapidly grew into a successful outlet for us to project some of the freshest indie tunes around as well as showcase some of the best unsigned and newly signed live bands from across the UK, such as:
The Courteeners, Twisted Wheel, CityRoyals, Pistola Kicks, The Brute Chorus, Alvarez Kings, The Fullertons, Captain Black, Billy The Kid, The Alones, The Cordels, The Lp, Sound Stripe, Untitled States, The Vandahls and many many more!!!

After a few months of putting on our mixed show format we caught the attention of Brannigans who asked us to put on a weekly set as part of the Official student night (Term Story 1+2). This was great for us as it presented an opportunity to branch out and concentrate further on the Djing aspect of our brand and allowed us to experiment by exploring new routes and a mix of new genres. As interest continues to grow and the floor gets busier, we continually give Chester a chance to listen to indie and the finest array of music to be found within this walled beauty that is Chester at the obvious selection of venues around the city.

Now featuring at LOAF every Tuesday, this third project continues to feature the freshest indie, indie-electro and new wave music by expanding the intake to BOTH the local-non-student population as well as our established student following. By brining everyone together under one roof we aim to create one collective Chester indie scene offering FREE entry and student friendly prices to all with the promise of some decent music.

After a successful launch of Tuesdays at LOAF, PANIK!ATTACK! had big and bold ideas of conquering the world, with this in mind they sent off Siknote (the skinny one) to the big lights of London town. With his departure Deano needed a new companion, so a nation-wide search for Siknote part II began. After many hours of interviews and selection processes a final candidate was chosen, the new model was none other than Thom Jackson of Big Beat fame. After carving himself into the local underground music scene of Chester, Djing at some of the more intimate venues of Chester, such as City Bar, Politic and Amber Lounge he also haunted the doors of Loaf via the Big Beat under the alter ego of the Coolest of Cats.

PANIK!ATTACK! being connoisseurs of the local student nights for some years now have joined forces with RBs to bring back what it once had, the best student night every Monday with Wonderland. Gracing the middle floor every week bring the best selection of decent student music, without the need of the cha cha slide or the baywatch theme tune. The only student night still offering FREE ENTRY and cheap as chips drinks from £1.99 a double + mixer and £1.25 a bottle or shot, you cant really argue anymore than that! Monday nights see PANIK!ATTACK! sandwiched by Bonez on the top floor slipping you all your R'n'B beats and Reflex below with the classic selection of your fave tunes from when you were a nipper.

Now proven amongst the 'bigger boys' of Chester PANIK!ATTACK! have taken on FRIDAY nights at LOAF, pushing their Indie skills through into new directions incorporating more dance, electro, pop, R'n'B and general sweet ass party tunes for Chesters weekend gang. Opening up their 1st FRIDAY on 16th January '09 they will be throwing a series of Vodka parties to launch this new venture introducing some new and interesting foreign and flavoured Vodkas for your pleasure and at only £2 a single + mixer and £3.25 for a double + mixer excluding red bull and tonics. The first party is featuring the Absolut range so get your drinking boots on and have a couple of beverages (responsibly, of course) with a range of tunes that you can enjoy on the weekend rather than just persevere through!! Including competition give-aways for snowboarding holidays, snowboards and much more stuff!!
