This is Tukufu's story about artwork by George Tamura, who was interned at Tule Lake during WWII. History Detective Tukufu Zuberi goes to San Francisco to view watercolors from a San Francisco archive that appear to be of a prison camp. Piecing the story together shows they were painted on the back of a Japanese-American internment notices from 1942.

KATONAH -- A team of historical detectives descended upon Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts on Saturday to determine whether an electronic instrument in New Mexico is in fact an authentic theremin from the 1930s.

PBS History Detectives HURRAY! Elyse and her crew are out this weekend shooting the first story of HISTORY DETECTIVES Season 8. It's about a musical instrument called the theremin.
