Mara Pemberton I like this show----I do not alwyas like what Republican ladies say, but I consider the source. The one panelist I dislike is Tara Satmeyer. She needs to get a like. What she says is off the wall, she's a snob, and doesn't really understand what the average middle class or poor woman faces each day.

As much as anyone else's issue; legalizing marijuana (and hemp) is a social, medical, environmental and economic issue.

It is reason to rejoice. The domestic partisan attitude of nastiness and pettiness is getting in the way of real progress and clouding over the sense of hope and renewal we felt at Obama's election. Yay!

..for the prestigious award bestowed upon Obama! I really like the new set. This week's show, (played 10/11 here in Seattle) was particularly riveting. The discussion on reported rape stats was very enlightening. I'm impressed that the discussion covered a variety of aspects concerning the issue; efficacy of the stats themselves, current social attitudes, and changes (for the better) in the legal and evidence system. Thanks To The Contrary!

I have to disagree with the rejoicing. While I applaud Obama's rhetoric on international peace keeping and move to shut down Guantanamo, the fact is that the Nobel Prize committee has simply hopped on the international popularity train. They have done this before so we should not necessarily be surprised, but the sad fact is that true heroes are ... Read Moretoo often passed over for those who show more charisma or likability, rather than actual accomplishment. Obama wisely stated that he views this as an obligation, rather than an award. And well he should.
