PETA Europe “Still Suckling Milk From Mummy’s Breast?” http://ow.ly/gqVv Kooky but awesome PETA Germany protest
PETA Europe at 5:49am July 4
It serves the purpose of making people realise just how wrong milk is - for welfare reasons, health reasons and plain-ole gross out factor reasons.
Lynne at 6:40am July 4
It's not what you are saying, but rather how it is being said that is making the difference. The truth is scary enough for the general public to understand, and all that is needed is a more straightforward approach. When the public sees campaigns or stunts like this, it makes a mockery of the "message" you are trying to convey-and a mockery of your group. I believe that Peta has much good to offer, and it saddens me to see the information get "lost" behind the silly antics.

That is what I did yesterday while I was going to the post office for few minutes... I left the car running with the AC on... It is Alaska here but yesterday it was about 79F and my dog is a Husky so he definitely doesn't enjoy this weather too much... So the AC system in the car is he's favorite treat... Common sense!

Stacey at 6:42pm July 1
Beating seals is clearly awful. But, I can't figure out why we want to punish those that don't even participate in the seal industry. How is that fair? There are families supported by the syrup industry just like any other.

Plants are living organisms as well-and you kill a plant in order to prolong your own life. All animals on this world (including us) eat another living being in order to survive. To say that eating meat is "murder" is incorrect. Murder is when one human takes the life of another human. When a human takes the life of a plant or animal and eats it-... We are no different than the lion, shark, crocodile, wolf, or other meat eaters when we eat meat.
What makes us different is HOW the animal is killed for food-there are more humane ways that slaughterhouses can process animals for food. And I'm all for that.

I like your philosophy Maria. The point is HOW we choose to live. What is consumed is not as important as how it is obtained. There are definitely humane ways to obtain both meat for food, and you can live a long and healthy life and not be vegetarian. My grandmother lived to 102-and ate meat every day of her adult life. But she also balanced that ... Read Morewith a healthy lifestyle. I'm rarely ever sick-but I live an active lifestyle and am careful of my nutrition and stress levels.
