wake up. The people are speaking. Health Care needs HELP... but it does not need to be like this. I work in Health Care... it is sick. But, so are many of the people who are working for us in DC. They are just trying to "push" it through to prove a point... not to do the right thing.

Deeds is a good man, but a lousy politician. He deserves the blame for this loss. He ran a very poorly thought-out campaign.

Bottom line, Democrats - particularly Southen Dems - need to realize that the votes are there but they must be strong enough and possess enough presence and strength to stand by their beliefs and convictions. The problem is often the same scenario as the Deeds race and they consistanly find weak candidates that make easy prey for the old school-... Read Morestyle politics that is still dominate in the South.

The people are tired of weak, ineffective politicians who will say anything to get or retain office and are seeing through the bull that exists in ALL political affiliations.

I voted for Deeds, but his campaign was truly awful.

Darren, thanks for NOW informing the American public that President Obama's campaign promises were contigent on other key officals winning elections during his term. If only someone brought that to the America's attention during the election. I guess after last night we can not hold President Obama responisble anymore. Begin "Lame Duck Period".

Its sad politics has devolved into a team sport and people act like the fan who calls into sports talk radio to continually root for their team and gets mad when somebody points out a mistake of any kind. We are all on the same team we just want to run different offenses.
