College of the Desert Coach Wendy Ansley and her COD Cross Country team are in Fresno for the State Championships Saturday. Three COD runners - one man and two women - advanced to the state championships at the recent Mt. SAC Invitational. Jerry Sanchez finished the four-mile course in a time of 22 minutes, 24 seconds. Candace Salas had a t...ime of 20:59, while Delia Cavazos ran a 20:50 in the 3.1 mile course.
