Marcia DeLue Marsille WOO-HOO! So glad to see you on FB! I rode between Rt 21 & Swifts this morning and there is a large branch down on the trail, I'd say about 2/3's of the way going toward Swifts. I moved a little bit of it so I could get around, but most of the trail is blocked.
Palmyra Pathways Wednesday, June 30. It was a nice cool evening to work outside. I was able to hack down the weeds and small trees the obstructed the view of the "waterfall" at Swift's Landing Canal Trail. That area of the Trail needs mowing and trimming, if anyone has time and energy get intouch with me, a push mower and gas are available. Gary LaBerge -- 597-5202.

This store is from 1826 and is the "only" original, authentic Erie Canal Store and home. 184 years of amazing history. The Palmyra Historical Museum is another old canal building and has 23 rooms of themed items. The word is that when you travel on the Erie Canal if you miss this wonderful location you have missed an experience of a lifetime.
