Save the date for Chadwick School's inaugural golf tournament, teeing off at noon on Monday, October 19, 2009 at the Palos Verdes Golf Club. Gather your friends and mark your calendar for a fabulous day of golf, food and camaraderie. Registration will begin in late August/early September. After defeating Saddleback Valley Christian and Loma Linda Academy in rounds one and two, the Dolphin boys volleyball team advances to the CIF Division V quarterfinals, traveling to Sage Hill on Friday, May 22 for a 6 p.m. match.

Two Chadwick faculty members, Village Librarian Luiza Rousseve and Athletic Director and Interim Village School Director Rollie Johnson, will host storytime at Barnes and Noble Booksellers in the Del Amo Shopping Center during Friends of the Library (FOL) Spring Shopping Days, May 29-31. Rousseve will read on Saturday, May 30 at 10 a.m., and Johnson will read on Sunday, May 31 at 2 p.m. During store hours May 29-31, present the Chadwick Book Fair Voucher with your purchase, and Barnes and Noble will donate up to 20 percent of the sale to the FOL. When shopping by phone, mention Chadwick and voucher no. 48172 to credit the school. FOL will use funds raised to purchase books and supplies for the Chadwick library.
