I rode on the Bay Town Trolley today June 21,2010 and was so disappointed with the service. i rode Trolley 3 to Panhandle Educators on 11th Street and wait for the trolley to returnto pick me up. On this particular day the weather was bad a...nd raining around the 1;00 hour. anticipating the trolley i left the shelter of Panhandle Educators and wait in the rain for the trolley to return for a few minutes and i was drenched standing under a tree, i noticed the trolley was coming and walk out to the street in plain and motioned the driver that i was waiting for the trolley. The driver was quite away from me when i begin signaling her to stop but she approached and passed me without stopping leaving me standing in the pouring rain. I was so disappointedthat she didn't stop. Iwas soaked to the bone and i just started walking in the rain. Iwalked from Panhandles Educatoers on 11th Street in the rain, down School Ave. and the School Ave. was flooed near Springfield Library. Ihad to walk in knee deep water to finally get off that street. I continued to walk until i finally reached Bus.98 and walked down 98 until one of my church members picked me up a little past Brothers Fashions . I not quite sure which street it was. Ihave never felt so humiliated and dejected in my entire life. To add to all i went through, I am a diabetic and sufer from chronic lower back pain and have been classified disabled. i actually had to stop several time in the rain to rest because my back was hurting so badly i could barely put one feet in front of the other. This was the worst experience ever!!!!!!!!! See More

              Bay Town Trolley

Bay Town Trolley In 2009 Bay Town Trolley delivered 51,815 trips in Bay County during the month of May. This year there were 63,143 trips delivered, a 22% increase, with over 900 riders climbing on board last Saturday. Clearly there are factors attracting more people to the Trolley. We don’t know if this increase is due to the economy..., our increased dependability, or the cleanliness of the vehicles and friendly staff.
