Paradigm and Boston legends Club d'Elf are teaming up for a string of shows in the northeast!
Club d'Elf is much more than just a band, it is a collective of top jazz, rock and world musicians who gather under the leadership of bassist/composer Mike Rivard to weave rhythms and sounds in a spontaneous but coherent journe...y across genres and states of mind. D'Elf appears in different forms, with an ever-evolving cast of characters that has included John Medeski, DJ Logic, Adam Deitch, Marco Benevento, Dave "Fuze" Fuiczynski, Sam Kininger, and Marc Ribot (among many others), but always with Rivard and his rock solid groove at it's heart.
Paradigm's album "Melodies for Uncertain Robots" (released nationally in March) recently spent over a month as Ropedope Records' best-selling digital release. Paradigm blends modern jazz exploration with the raw power and sonic possibilities of indie rock, with some prog tendencies thrown in for good measure.
