By the way, I've updated the blog. A Windows 7 update has added AC'97 drivers which work well with Parallels Desktop 4.0 for Mac. Make sure to check optional Windows updates if your sound still isn't working.

Nice product. Too bad it is limited to just one hardware product. I am still waiting for just a 64bit version of Parallels Workstation. I have Win2008 64bit and want to use Parallels virtualization model on it.

Good question actually, I think we'll add it to the FAQ. The naming of the product ties in with the technology powering it. Parallels Workstation Extreme is brand new, separate from Parallels Workstation 2.2, and we chose to start it marked "4.0" because it's based strongly around Parallels Fastlane architecture, which was first introduced in Parallels Desktop 4.0 for Mac along with the Adaptive Hypervisor - we consider them both to be in the next generation of virtualization technology.
