Children are the conscience of a community and the care a community expresses for a child becomes the simplest and most meaningful measure of that community’s regard for itself.

Partnership for Children Here's some great information from the Greater Kansas City Health Care Foundation about how the Affordable Care Act will impact children. http://www.reformreality.org/how-will-this-affect-children.aspx

As part of a strong health care system, children will receive the right care, from the right place, at the right time. For those who graduate from college and face a difficult job market, health care reform will extend coverage on their parents’ plans until they are 26.

Partnership for Children got a great present from Governor Nixon today: 3 signed bills and 3 pens to frame in our office. Thank you, Governor Nixon, for supporting this legislation and also thanks for recognizing our efforts to help get them passed. Also, many, many, many thanks to Sen. Justus, Rep. Nance and Rep. Silvey for being great champions for kids!!

Kathaleen Winkleman I have heard that Gov. Nixon announced his budget cuts today. If that is true, do you know what they are and how Missouri children will be affected?
