Lynne You are so right! I just spent a month with "Blood Dazzler" for a packet of my MFA work. From Katrina, to Ethel Freeman, to Luther B and his devoted person, to Bush, to the 34 who were left at St. Rita's, I was blown away by the variety of form and structure used to make the voices come alive, to live within me. I w...as blessed to hear Patrica Smith talk about and read her work during my Jan. residency... it was the first time I encountered her, and I know I won't let it be the last!
