Thursday and Friday, October 30-31 Stickering for Paula! Join us all day as we prepare voting information in our office. It's very simple work, and the people are fun. This information will help us get out the vote, so come by for an hour, an afternoon, or all day...

You can come in WHENEVER CONVENIENT TO YOU! Please help us inform voters where to go on Nov. 4th to vote! It is SO EASY-- just hang a piece of paper on a door handle! What could be easier than that? It's great exercise, and a wonderful way to network, get experience, and meet your state representative!
Drop by the offic...e to get a list of addresses, a map, and a pack of door hangers. Grab a friend or another volunteer to help. If you don't finish, just return it when you're done and we'll finish for you!
This is SO EASY it is ridiculous! You're helping democracy by helping more people get out to vote, and you're helping Democrats up and down the ballot.
So PLEASE, come out and help hang voter info on some doors!

The mission of the Arlington and Mansfield Action Committee (AMAC) is to increase the number of African Americans participating in the political process by focusing on increasing voter education, registration and participation.
The forum will be held at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 5415 Matlock Road..., Arlington, Texas 76018 for the following races:
1. State Senate, District 10 (D- Wendy Davis)
2. State Representative, District 93 (D- Paula!)
3. State Representative, District 96 (D- Chris Turner)
Paula is planned to go on between 7:15 and 7:30, but get there earlier than that because the schedule may be updated to reflect certain candidates not showing up, if and when they don't.
Candidate Forum Protocol:
1. Each candidate will have two minutes for opening and closing statements.
2. Candidates will have two minutes to answer questions.
3. Order will alternate during the question and answer period and revolving order for races with more than two candidates.
4. Time permitting questions may be submitted, in writing only, from the audience.

Paula Pierson Awesome volunteers came in to help stuff envelopes for disabled, elderly, and out of town voters to get their applications to vote by mail, as well as invitations to the Red White and BLUES, and a letter to Paula supporters. We appreciate them so much!

Please support Paula in her re-election by attending this ONE LAST "undecided" walk before the election!
Basically we walk microtargeted people to tell them a little about Paula and ask for their vote for her. Most haven't thought about it and many of them like what Paula stands for. It's not just cold walking, we know ...that these people would like Paula based on microtargeting technology. But face-to-face interaction has been proven to be the best method of voter contact.
So help us out by getting more people to vote for Paula, this one last time.
Women make up less than 20% of the Texas State House of Representatives. Almost 60% of our representatives are anti-choice. Help us keep this pro-choice woman in office.

9:45 - Leave for the neighborhood, organize walk back, divide lists, plan route
10:00 - Knock first house
12:00 - Knock last house, head back
12:15 - Eat lunch, visit
By doing this you are helping society by helping get a candidate elected who really cares about changing Austin to get results for us. You also have the chance to meet new people and network, get great experience and references, and win a laptop or an I-pod while you're at it.
