Volunteers are needed to help with a food drive in Maxton on Saturday, November 21, 2009 from 10:00 am-2:00 pm. Volunteers will assist with sorting and packing food that is donated. High school students from the 21st Century Tutoring program will also help!

Sleep outside on the UC Lawn with CLS and Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. to raise awareness about homelessness in our area. Participants will accept donations throughout the night to support local community partners that help feed the homeless in our area.
Bring your sleeping bags and plenty of blankets!!

After the movie, the Rape Crisis Center of Robeson County will lead a discussion on portrayals of violence against women in the media followed by our White Flag Campaign Ceremony. Free popcorn and drinks!
Center for Leadership & Service Join us in North Hall tonight @ 7:30 pm for a discussion on the Prevention of Violence Against Women. We will be watching "War Zone" followed by a discussion led by the Rape Crisis Center of Robeson County.

Even if you only have an hour to give, read and do crafts/games with third graders as we promote literacy! Pizza is available for those who volunteer!

Don't forget to come out to Lincoln Nights @ Lumberton Ford between 5 pm-7 pm and help raise money for the fight against breast cancer! For each test drive taken, $20 will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation! Also, you can register to win a 65" plasma tv equipped... with a home theater system worth over $4000!!! Hope to see you there!
