Been a fan of this unique whisky since its' inception: won a bottle at the Chicago Taffia's St David's Day Pub Quiz 3 years ago and it didn't last very long. Acquired another bottle recently in Louisville, KY when the owner of the liquor store at which I was presenting The Glenlivet, generously presented me with a bott...le in honour of my immaculate Welsh pedigree...! It has pride of place in my display cabinet amidst my modest but burgeoning collection of Single Malts. When back home for a visit this Summer (dismal though it was) I enjoyed touring the exceptionally tidy distillery and chatting with Keith Tench, the friendly manager of the visitor centre while browsing and purchasing extensively from the well-stocked shop. (I was like a fox in a chicken coop there, aye)! This is an outstanding product, no doubt and the company represents a model for Welsh business enterprise. I missed the Penderyn crew at WhiskeyFest, San Francisco last month, but look forward to catching up with the team at WhiskeyFest Chicago in April 2010 and wish you all the very best in continuing to break new ground by expanding your business and broadening the awareness, availability and appeal of this exceptional product in the months and years to come.
