Penn State Icers From all of the Penn State Icers, we wish you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving, at least those in the United States (for our fans north of the border, a belated Happy Thanksgiving!). We would also like to thank you for helping us reach 300 fans on our page!
Penn State Icers The Icers winning streak reached 10 this weekend as they dominated Navy with 9-0 and 8-0 wins at the Greenberg. Eric Steinour netted five goals on the weekend. Teddy Hume and Dan Ivanir split time in both games between the pipes. The Icers now travel to Southern New Hampshire (NCAA D2) to face the Penmen on Saturday after Thanksgiving.
Penn State Icers The Icers face Navy this weekend at the Greenberg Ice Pavilion (Friday 9 PM, Saturday 3:30 PM). This is also "Military Appreciation Weekend". All active military get in for just $5. Come on out and catch some great hockey before the Thanksgiving Break.
Penn State Icers The Icers started off slow on Saturday night at Rhode Island and found themselves down 3-1 heading into the third period. However, goals by Steve Thurston and Paul Daley forced overtime and then shootout goals from George Saad and John Conte gave the Icers a 4-3, comeback win. Teddy Hume gets his second win between the pipes on the weekend.
Penn State Icers The Icers hand Rhode Island their first home and ESCHL loss of the season in what Coach Balboni called their "best effort of the season". Two goals from Steve Thurston and tremendous goaltending from Teddy Hume give the Icers a 4-1 win. The teams will meet again on Saturday night at 7 PM.

The sixth-ranked Icers (10-1-1, 5-0-1 ESCHL) are back in action this weekend as they face seventh-ranked Rhode Island (11-3-0, 6-0-0 ESCHL) tonight and tomorrow at Brad Boss Arena in Kingston, RI. Game times for both nights are 7:00 PM.
The Icers, already down 7 players due to injury, found out Friday that they will als...o be without Chris Pronchik and Marek Polidor for Friday's game due to serving one-game suspensions from the post-game altercation against Navy last Saturday.

Penn State Icers The Icers came out with a strong effort and completed the weekend sweep of Navy with a 5-1 win Saturday night. Penn State outshot the Midshipmen by a count of 60-17. Chris Pronchik netted two goals for the Icers and freshman netminder Dan Ivanir got his first win in his first start as an Icer. Next weekend, the Icers w...ill continue ESCHL play with a two-game set at Rhode Island.
Penn State Icers The Icers started their weekend at Navy with a hard-fought 6-4 win over the Midshipmen Friday night. Senior Steve Thurston netted two goals while Mark Polidor, Chris Cerutti, Dan Loucks and Paul Daly each scored one. Second game is Saturday at 7:30 PM.

The Icers (8-1-1, 3-0-1 ESCHL) kick off two-consecutive road weekends tonight at Navy (4-9-1, 0-5-1 ESCHL). Game times tonight and tomorrow are 7:30 PM.
