
National Naval Aviation Museum A Navy F6F-3 Hellcat from WWII has been recovered from Lake Michigan and will be delivered to the Naval Aviation Museum for restoration later this week.

More than 60 years after it went crashing into Lake Michigan, a Navy F6F-3 Hellcat fighter plane was lifted from the water Monday morning.
