Biography
Drew has always been an interesting person to listen to, musically. I wouldn't try to philosophize with him or you just might get into an all-night, one-sided conversation about Jesus or the stars. However, He writes songs that make a person feel comfort with everything that surrounds them in their everyday life. He is an especially gifted lyricist; writing from experiences in his life and maskin...g them with metaphor:

"All through the darkest of winters
We lit the fires
to keep all the vampires away
while you slept in the city
of boarded up buildings
you could not stop dreaming the same things
then all the birds began singing
inviting the spring
riding the skies on the first rays of morning light
filled up your room
and filled up your head
warming the side of the bed you weren't sleeping on" from the song Paperdolls

Drew birthed Pet Comfort alone, in his beat-laboratory. He started posting demos online that no one knew about; I doubt he cared if they did or not. Eventually all of his efforts left his former bands/projects and were focused on Pet Comfort and a new band formed. Luke Baker came on to sing sweet harmonies, Jason Trabue joined on skins, Anna Kemp added an even higher harmony and keyboards, and Mike Graham plays bass.

Together they worked on new material and released the Paperdolls EP in the spring of 2009.

The 5 Track EP has received great reviews from fans and critics alike. "Upon hearing [Pet Comfort's] debut EP, Paperdolls, I instantly understood what the fuss was about."- Crystal Wiebe-The Pitch Weekly -
