Peter Adams first appeared in the underground scene in 2005 with his self-released album The Spiral Eyes. Written, recorded, produced and distributed entirely by himself, the album mixed the folk-psychadelia of Neutral Milk Hotel, the playful inventions of the Beatles, and the technical complexity of Radiohead into a truly unique musical experience. Without any kind of help from record labels or traditional modes of distribution, Adams connected directly to fans who discovered his music over the Internet and helped his music spread through word of mouth.

With the help of his band the Nocturnal Collective, Adams has been playing shows around his native Cincinnati as well as traveling cross-country to Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, and South by Southwest in Austin over the last two years. His highly-anticipated second album, I Woke With Planets In My Face, will be released in April.
