Trent World day, the fourth annual event is presented by the International community at Trent University. This event is meant to be a vibrant representation of the International community at Trent and is a display of
the vast varieties of culture that make up the Trent community as a whole.
This year we hope to extend th...e reaches of the event beyond its initial stages and move more so that a connection can be made between the Trent and Peterborough communities. To draw some excitement to this event we are setting out a journey. As individuals travel through the “Global Citizens”,
a fair/festival type set up of booths representing the different cultures of Trent, they will have the opportunity to have their passports stamped. Individuals with the most stamps which is a proof of a higher global citizenship will be presented with a prize later on in the day. In the
afternoon (at 3.00pm), the journey will come to an end and a cultural show will be taking place (which would include performances of dance, skits, and other performance arts with cultural relevance).
