The question is integrity, as in "integral". The "wholeness" of the work of art.

If you consider the continuation and integrity of the sum of several tracks important, I'd suggest to mix them together and sell as 1 long track. 00:30:00, 01:00:00, 03:00:00, whatever. Just 1 file.

However, a longer piece is a more difficult sell. Personally, I may disqualify a "mix" or "live" set just because it contains 1 or more tracks / loop combinations in the middle (unededitable) that I don't like.... Read More

To draw a parallel with painting... Paint 3 pictures. Either sell each picture separately, to different people. Or, glue them together to form a continuous triptych and sell as an inseparable whole.

Pheek Each festivals has music hits and it seems that Mutek's music that got the most reaction were tracks dropped by DJs that were actually early 90's tunes. Quite amusing when you think its in a fwd thinking festival! :)
