The British American Business Council was pleased to host the fellows of the British American Project and the British Consulate-General on Tuesday evening, June 30, for a reception... featuring special guests Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter and Deputy Consul-General Dominic Meiklejohn. The reception, intended to engage the community and generate awareness for the British American Project’s 25th anniversary and upcoming Philadelphia conference, was attended by key civic and business leaders from the tri-state region. Aside from joking about former British Prime Minister Tony Blair’s newfound love for Philadelphia cheesesteaks, Mayor Nutter stressed his determination to furthering the Philadelphia-UK business relationship.
